We are a company with operations in Costa Rica, Panama and United States, world leaders in Farmed Rose Snapper and the largest wild caught fish exporters in Costa Rica. We have a profound commitment with quality and sustainability.The Company has evolved from a family business to become a world class supplier of sustainable seafood.

Construction of first part of the processing plant and export of the first products
2002
Processing plant expansion
2008
Martec finances a two year pilot project to test viability of culturing Snapper
2014
First sales of the Farmed Snapper to large retail chains in the US
2015
Capital increase and new investments to expand the farming operation
2019
New management & new Corporate branding, as well as international expansion of Wild Catch division to Panama.
We employ approximately 320 people from 7 different nationalities who follow our core values of quality, innovation and sustainability and contribute daily to our mission of ensuring a traceable supply of WorldClass seafood anywhere in the Americas and worldwide.
